At 18 years old in 2021, I started this little dream of mine — opening a vintage shop rooted in my love for all things retro. I had no idea where it would take me, but it’s been an incredible journey filled with unexpected moments, meaningful connections, and some seriously cool finds.

Growing up in Miami, some of my earliest style memories are of watching my grandmother in the dressing room at Caché in Dadeland Mall — always so elegant, carefully picking out her next outfit. She had this effortless glamour that made fashion feel exciting, expressive, and personal. That feeling stuck with me, and it’s a big part of what inspired Turn Back the Clock Shop.

From the beginning, this shop has been more than just a place to find vintage treasures. It’s become a welcoming space where people connect over a shared love for the past. Whether it’s bonding over a rare piece or swapping stories behind a look, there’s always a sense of community here.

The support from the vintage-loving crowd has meant everything. I’ve met so many kind, creative souls — many of whom have become close friends. Getting to learn from each person and be part of something that brings joy and style into their lives has been the most rewarding part of the ride.

As I continue to explore the racks of vintage treasures, I’m simply grateful. Grateful to be part of something that brings people joy, sparks inspiration, and keeps the spirit of the past alive.

Here’s to preserving the magic — one piece at a time.
